2008 Season

Dennis Lorio returned to the sidelines and the Thibodaux Tigers were nearly as good as they were in Lorio's last season at the helm (of the 1991 state championship team).   This Tiger team was better than anyone might have expected in reeling off ten wins, winning their first district championship since 1992, and making it to the state quarterfinals.

After an undefeated regular season, Thibodaux welcomed and defeated not one, but two Covington high school teams (Covington and St. Paul) in the 2008 playoffs before falling to a superior Barbe High School team in Lake Charles.
